what should I do... rear end dilemma

As some of you probably remember, I'm having severe tire wear on the inside of both tires. I found the problem.... my whole housing is jacked. I finally noticed one side is severely bent and used a 2ft level against my rim to verify it wasn't just our eyes.

So now I'm in the market for a whole housing, axle, gears, the works but I don't want to lose my 3.73's. I can get a whole rear end with 3.27's for $600 within 2 hours drive time of my location and that may be my only option.
I'd like to keep the 3.73's if at all possible, but I don't have the knowledge of installing them properly. My father installed new gears in his F-450 (took him 4 times to get them correct while rear end was under the truck)for better mpg's on the highway, but his take on it is I should just go with a working stock rear end. (aka he's too lazy to help/see's no point in the swap)

I need options/suggestions. I like the pull of the 3.73's and how at 70+ in 5th the car still pulls hard with every bit of fuel you give it vs my old GT that crawled gaining speed past 90mph.

I 'm very tight on cash, but I may know a man who is good with rear ends. How much should I be looking to pay if I have the rear out of the car and gears on the table for him to install? Should I just say screw it and take the 3.27's? :sorry
